Glamzy.com
Austin: Mon, 03/28/2011 - 19:14I bilt the website using Drupal. It is a simple site that was influenced by the apple.com site. If you look closely you can see the similarities. I realized how much that I dont like rounded corners when designing this site, therefore they didn't make it to the site. Though I would like to one day understand them because there is something about a website with rounded corners which represents an iPhone app... they just go together.

iSpy for Android
Austin: Sat, 07/24/2010 - 22:17"The car game made popular during road trips is now on Android. Puzzles are created by users so they are fresh. Plus, you get to see images of the world. Guess the object or concept the hint is referring to. Create puzzles by taking a picture, entering a hint & answer."
So far the game has been really interesting. It amazing how much of a personal perspective one can communicate with a single image of their living room, daughter, or car. Some people get a little more personal by making private parts a bit more public. I have since converted to a simple screening process to help avoid the negative environment associated with "flashing". I would rather leave it as an open submission process, but it seems most are still a bit conservative. Maybe ill come up with an app specifically for creating "inappropriate" content.

StatDroid.TwoStatesAway.com
Austin: Wed, 01/20/2010 - 19:29StatDroid is used to analyze & synthesize data on your Google Android device. StatDroid currently allows you to view call, sms, image, audio, video, contact, and browser stats from your device. This site was hosted at www.statdroid.com, is now hosted on a sub domain. The app is doing ok, but the site rarely was visited, so I figured I would consolidate and save a few pence.

I was a consolidation of information from finance.google.com, BigCharts.com, and a local server running a version of Quote Tracker, which has an API to access real time market data.

Flash D.I.G.
Austin: Mon, 03/16/2009 - 23:38Flash D.I.G. or Dynamic Image Gallery was a design and development effort of mine to create a place to share my own images, as well have other upload and share theirs. One of the goals of this application was to have it be completely database free. The application runs on a serious of PHP scripts that retrieve the directories and images. When the content is gather, it is fed into the flash application where it is displayed for the users. I am hoping to find time in the near future to post this application here on Two States Away.

Domp Directory
Austin: Mon, 03/16/2009 - 23:20This project was done back when Google maps was released. I thought it could be useful to have a similar style map for students attending universities and similar maps with a more specific and detail interface for a particular campus or location
