Photography to me has been one of the most enjoyable journeys in my life. I started sometime around 2006, and probably reached my peak of shooting sometime in 2007, which was my first year in San Francisco. I think I've learned a lot about people, time, myself and life in general from the various experiences of being an active photographer. If you are really interested in any of my photos, I would be more than happy to send you a few in full resolution (8mp), to use how ever you please. Just contact me
A set of images from around SF

Its around a 1000ft climb, but when you get to the top its worth every step
One of the most amazing mornings I have ever experienced. I didn't surf at all, I was too busy taking pictures.
It rained, then shined, rained then shined...
My first sailing trip, an amazing experience. Thanks for the invite Abdullah
Sunrise. Just south of pier 28 in San Francisco. Be there.

The majority of the shots in this reel were taken south of San Francisco, where some individuals seem to prefer a slower pace.
This reel appears to be another adventure in the city. I remember calling it Weekend Work because of the guys who do the pressure washing early in the morning on those days when most people sleep in. (not shown)
Older images (2.5mp) that I took on a walk to a wal-mart. I think it was about 5 miles away.
The trail is called Konahuanui. When I got to the top there was no view, only the sounds of birds in the distance and the gentle wind.
Map (GPS/Phone died less than halfway back)
This was my first time out with a focus of taking pictures. And "As I Suspected" It would be a marvelous experience.

Some images taken back in Memphis with an old 2.5mp HP camera I got from a friend of mine (Preston). These appear to be from around my apartment complex
These are images from my first trip to Hawai'i to scout for a place to live and to take a grand tour of the island. We did some camping in our Vanagon and a couple sub island expeditions.
Images taken north of San Francisco, If you haven't been to Tennessee Beach, Tennessee Valley, Muir Beach, and the surrounding areas... go. Take your mountain bike.
These image were taken on a trip to Mt. June for a bit of snowboarding and a birthday celebration. It was a wonderful drive, and a good time hanging out with Bergen and his friends Danielle, Jill, and Shane.
During this serious of images I simply noticed that in the city there is a lot of activity on the corners of most streets. Conversations, pigeons, people selling goods, pan handlers, Christian preachers with their loud speakers and karaoke machines, and often I even find mind myself staring out at an intersection from a street corner.
This reel got its name as a result of a decision that I was presented on a bike ride that took me across the Golden Gate Bridge. When I reached the northern side the fog had just started to roll in and I was wondering if I rode to the top of Hawk Hill would I be able to see anything or would I be wasting my time. So I pushed on up the hill with the thought that "maybe" it would be clear at the top, or at least clear enough to snap a few pictures of the city. I'm not sure that I took any nice shots of the city, but many of the images turned out to be "marvelous".
This reel of images contains a variety of connections with people, animals, and the places we call "Home".
Images taken on a train trip from San Francisco through Albuquerque to St. Louis (and back)
