Nice To Know

An endless experience. I think all things in their true nature are understood universally.

Be natural. Be peaceful.

All Ways Days

To me, a lot of people get caught up in the ideas of holidays, birthdays, and all those other "special" occasions. I'm sure we've all heard that every day the sun rises is a day to be thankful for. I have repeated it many times to many people through the story of the "Taoist Farmer". I think that's the point of the title (and content) of this video... "All Ways Days" which is partially a play on words for "Always Days".

The main thought is to live to the extents of enjoyment (Not to be confused with having fun). Enjoy "All" days "Always" and in "All Ways"... not just on those days with a label... because everyday is a wonderful gift of experience, embrace the "good" and the "bad"... just don't forget to let them go.

Flubble (Vimeo)

Flubble is a ActionScript 3 (AS3) stub creator. It allows you to create shell classes or outlines to work in your flash of flex applications. The interface is as simple as possible. You can save and load a class or you can email it as an ActionScript file or in an XML format.

Plus Pour Toujours (Vimeo)

The best part, of the best time, of my life.

Fog City Test Footage (Vimeo)

A quick personal project to get back into the 3D world (yes, yes, I know the world doesn't need another fly through with corny music). I took a few images from google maps, put them together in photoshop. I then made selections and created paths from the roads and buildings based on colors from the map. I export the paths and brought into 3ds max. from there I extruded the faces to random heights. I did a few touch ups on certain things (Coit tower, Trans America, and Ferry building). The render was something like 20hrs I think (quad core). I also wanted to test the fog environmet. I will soon try to add elevation to the city... hills and what not, and replace the water material.

Heading Towards Hawaii (Vimeo)

This was a trip Ian and I took that was part vacation and part scouting. I wanted to see the island to find out where I wanted to live. The choice wasn't too hard after a day or two, when I learned which side of the island gets the most sun. We were initially going to bike around the island, but I'm glad we didn't. Good call Ian.

Sixty Four (Vimeo)

The Morning Matters (Vimeo)

A few days of shooting, and voila. Most, if not all of the ocean and beach footage was collected here. The driving is rather all over, some of it was taken while going to Pali Lookout... which is where some of the walking shots were taken. Its always fun gathering footage... never knowing how it will be consolidated.

This is a drawing style I developed in a class back in school. It happened to be a class that I was retaking, as a result of some name change. Either way, I may have never found this line style which I really enjoy.

Duck Billed

I wanted to tell some kind of progressive story with this, yet show that there is always a hint of monotony.
